Consider…
Those of us that have surrendered our lives to the lordship of Jesus have been adopted into the family of God, and are therefore His heirs (Rom. 8:17, Gal. 3:29, Eph. 3:6). Because of the finished work on the cross, His covenant promises are ours in Christ (2 Cor. 1:20). He is the giver of all good gifts (Jam. 1:17), the guarantee of our inheritance (Eph. 1:14). Why would we settle for anything less than abundant living (John 10:10), stuffing ourselves with “spiritual hushpuppies”, keeping us from hungering for the Bread of Life (John 6:35), that which truly satisfies?

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant me to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in my inner being, so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith—that I, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that I may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that I ask or think, according to the power at work within me, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:14-21)
