Consider…
As followers of Jesus, we need to identify who we are in Christ and our enemy’s prowling. We need to identify our spiritual gifts and the call of the Lord in ministry. The Holy Spirit helps us primarily through His word, sight and sound, dreams and visions, interaction with other believers, and His still small voice.
We can predict what will come next as we seek the Lord, listen to wise counsel, and hear the testimonies of those that have gone before us.
Our informed, prayerful faith will dictate what we do next, our decision. Remember- if we had all the information and knew the outcome ahead of time, it wouldn’t be faith.
After all that, there’s nothing left but to execute, to do.
Pray…
My Lord, I have been crucified with Christ and no longer live, but Christ lives in me. I live by faith in the Son of God (Gal. 2:20). Give me the discernment to see the work of the enemy, that I would recognize his schemes (2 Cor. 2:11; 1 Pet. 5:8). Teach me all things I need to know, and what to say (John 14:26; Luke 12:12). Bring me wise counsel, and encourage me with testimonies (Prov. 11:14, 15:22, 19:20; Luke 8:39). Here I am Lord, send me (Isa. 6:8). Strengthen me with the knowledge that You are with me (Josh. 1:9; Matt. 28:19-20; Deut. 31:6).
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
