Consider…
At the very least, how we conduct ourselves and interact with others serves as an example. Are we modeling Christ-likeness (1 Cor. 11:1), or causing someone to stumble (Mark 9:42, Rom. 14:13)? Don’t discount what we do “privately” either, because how we redeem the time grows us in righteousness or hardens us in unholiness, thereby training our character, formatting our operating systems, if you will. Garbage “stone” dropped or thrown into the waters of our spirit, garbage ripples out.
Pray…
Our Father, Remind us that as Your children, our highest calling is to love (1 John 4:19) and glorify You (Rev. 4:11). Increase in us the awareness that we are to shine as examples of Your light to the watching world around us (Mat. 5:16, Luke 8:17), that every single thing we do and say matters (1 Pet. 1:14-15, Mat. 12:36-37). Your Spirit is life and the flesh profits nothing (John 6:63); fill me with Your grace and I will abound in every good work (2 Cor. 9:8).
In the name of Jesus, Amen!

The Book of Jonah is a tremendous account of the ripples of both rebellion and obedience to God. It is a quick and worthwhile read.
