Consider…
I certainly do not know everything I need to know, nor am I very good at remembering the stuff I do know. I need to be intentional in broadening and refreshing my knowledge, particularly that which relates to the word and spirit of God. Left to our own reasoning, we will make terrible decisions (Prov. 16:25), and are often admonished in Scripture to remember what the Lord has said or done (1 Chr. 16:12). Because of His grace and love, the Lord tells us what we need to know and reminds us of what He has told us. It helps us to know where we are and where we need to go (Psa. 119:105). Through His word and spirit, God helps us to “KEEP LEFT” on the Bahamian roads of life, spiritually speaking!
Pray…
Lord, You desire that I remember that which You have told me and shown me. Remind me that Your law is to be on my lips. Remind me of everything You have said to me, and of the gospel that has been preached to me. Remind me to fan into flame the gift of God. Remind me to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, and to wholesome thinking. But help me to forget what lies behind and help me to strain forward to what lies ahead, and press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Amen!

LOOK RIGHT(?)
Keeping left while driving in the Bahamas is wise counsel. It should also be heeded in London; they also drive on the wrong, er, opposite side of the road. Because the bus pictured below, one that will leave an indelible mark if it were to strike you, travels on the left side of the road, it would behoove those with intentions to cross the street to look right, something we wouldn’t instinctively do. Thankfully, the British government has painted helpful reminders at crosswalks, to prevent absent minded yanks from becoming part of the historical thoroughfares. Well sorted, governor!
