Consider…
Being thankful and giving thanks is no small matter. In fact, it is God’s revealed will for each of us (1 Thes. 5:18). Discontent denies the Lord’s sovereignty in a given situation; its as if we don’t take Him at His word to be with us (Heb. 13:5). No matter what, our Lord is just (Psa. 7:17), and works ALL things together for good (Rom. 8:28).
Pray…
My Father, Because You promise me peace that passes understanding as a result, help me not to be anxious but to pray at all times with thanksgiving (Phil. 4:6). I thank You for everything in the name of Jesus (Eph. 5:20). You are good (Psa. 145:9), and I will lack no good thing when I seek You (Psa. 34:10).
